Chosing your course to come and study in France

France offers varied and quality higher education courses at all levels, in all disciplines and in all major towns and cities throughout the country.

Provincial universities: quality teaching, a quality of life that is better than in Paris
The universities in the main provincial towns and cities all offer courses that are on an equal level with courses available in Paris. In addition, life outside the capital is less expensive (especially for accommodation) and a lot calmer.
It is more difficult to make friends in Paris because of the greater number of students. Lecture rooms are overcrowded and university accommodation is sometimes quite a distance from the campus and hardly ever in the town centre. The international university city (http://www.ciup.fr) is an exception, but places are very hard to come by!
Paris can always be visited for a couple of days and you will avoid all the downsides of daily life in the capital!

• etc.!
